Blackboard, at the University of Redlands, is used for the delivery of course materials and activities in an online environment. With Blackboard, instructors can post announcements, syllabi, lecture notes, presentations, assignments, quizzes and grades for students to access at anytime. Blackboard also includes interactive features such as discussion boards and virtual chat rooms.

The Self and Peer Assessment tutorial provides an overview of how to setup and make available a peer assessment. With this tool, students can anonymously review and grade work submitted by their classmates following instructor-set criteria, encouraging them to better understand the assignment objectives and learn from the perspectives of others.
