There's not much to say about me...
- What I teach:
- MATH 111, 121, 122, 301, 311, 312, and the
occasional first year seminar, senior seminar, and independent study course.
- Work on grants:
- I'm currently working with Lisa
Olson (Biology) and a number of her students on cancer and Down's
Syndrome
research.
- Work on campus:
- Besides working with
faculty and students on their projects, I'm currently
helping work on student retention at the UoR.
- Work off campus:
- What I do in my free time:
- I used to play soccer.
Unfortunately, it is hard to practice without at least
one other person. So I tried wakeboarding.
But someone had to steer the boat. Now I golf
because I'm the one responsible for the outcome.
If you are serious about playing, do yourself two favors
--
take
some lessons from a pro and be sure to get
clubs
that fit. I've also found that playing a piano or a guitar can
kill some time.
